After a whole month of October travelling across Brisbane and the suburbs for U18 and U23 Academy trials, Jorge has officially been offered a place in the U18 FQ Academy League at FC THE GAP Academy for 2026!
We are incredibly proud of his dedication and effort.
He has already started pre-season training.
Jorge is full of energy, discipline and heart, and he remains committed to his long-term dream of becoming a professional football player. His goal for 2026 also includes travelling to Madrid to train at the Real Madrid Academy, but he hasn’t yet reached the financial target needed to make this happen.

Help Jorge achieve his soccer dream.
Jorge, a passionate 17-year-old soccer player, has an incredible opportunity to train in Spain, a chance to refine his skills and bring him closer to his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
However, while we are fully committed to supporting Jorge’s journey, the cost of overseas training is beyond what we can manage on our own as a family in Brisbane. We are doing everything we can to help him reach his goals, but we kindly ask for additional support to make this opportunity possible.
What Happened and When:
►Jorge has the opportunity to join a prestigious soccer training camp in Valencia, Spain, set to take place in the June-July 2026 season. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for Jorge to learn from top coaches and compete with talented peers.
►How Funds Will Be Used:
The funds raised will cover travel expenses, travel insurance, accommodation for him (Jorge is a minor and will be travelling with his mum), training fees, meals, and necessary gear for the duration of the training camp.
►Why We Are Asking for Support:
We support Jorge's dreams as a family, but financial constraints make it challenging. Your support will help Jorge take this significant step toward his soccer career.

Jorge's Background:
Jorge is proudly Spanish and Australian, with a deep love for soccer. His dream is to play in Spain; this training camp is a critical step towards that goal. Once in Spain, he will visit his grandparents, who are ill and haven't hugged their grandson in two years.

Some of you might think that the end of the season means it’s time to rest, but for me, it’s just the beginning - I'm gearing up for 2025 trials in a few weeks.
I’m training hard to secure a spot in an academy for 2025, aiming to join a new team, and continuously improve my skills to pursue my dream of becoming a professional soccer player.
A huge thank you to my parents for their unwavering support this year, driving me to training sessions and games (even the distant ones) and always being there for me! 💖
LIFE IS AN ADVENTURE, I cannot wait to see what's next!

Your trust in me, especially when it comes to taking penalties, has given me confidence. Scoring in almost every match is a sign of not just my effort but to our collective teamwork and dedication to improving as both athletes and individuals.
Over the entire season, I have worked hard during training; more than 145 days, 290 hours, and nearly 50 matches. My worn-out shoes are a symbol of my dedication, effort, and hard training that has brought me this far. It's time for a new pair, as I continue to pursue my dream.
In the coming weeks, I will begin working to help cover my football training and equipment expenses.
I am very thankful for the support I have received, and I am confident that, with the continued help of generous people like you, I will achieve my dream of training in Spain next year.
